Decision 2008 Belize Official Elections Result.

The Map on the FAR RIGHT represents the Country's Different Electoral Divisions by districts. Clicking on any of these electoral divisions will reload this area and show the corresponding information for that division.

The Map on the NEAR RIGHT represents Belize City's Electoral Divisions. As Belize City is divided into many smaller divisions, we have enlarged it for you to be able to choose the right division.

The Legend below shows the color coded divisions by district. To find your division, look at the legend then find that color in your corresponding district.

It’s been a long and bitter campaign, but on February 7th the talk stops and the voting begins. And when it does you can fallow the elections every step of the way as News 5 and Love FM join forces for full coverage from the first ballot to the final count.

A nationwide team of correspondents will bring live reports from every constituency plus expert analysis from Belize’s most experienced political commentators and special guest. It all happens from 6 a.m. on February 7th.

He completed his law studies at the University of the West Indies and Norman Manley Law School. He also earned a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Miami.

Gaspar "Gapi" Vega is a successful businessman who is deeply committed to grassroots activities in his community.

Mr. Erwin Contreras

2nd Deputy Party Leader, Cayo West , Area Representative

The Honorable Erwin Contreras is a national footballer, having represented Belize abroad in regional and international matches.

Cornelius Dueck

Party Leader, Cayo Northeast

Cornelius started a new company in 1984, General Automotive at Spanish Lookout and invested into other areas of commerce and trade. He later opened two more branches of General Automotive the first in 1993 in Belize City and later in 1999 in Orange Walk Town. The Core Group members have strong Biblical values and godly convictions that provide the party with its foundational ideals and principles.

Patrick Rogers

Patrick Rogers has served in various capacities at the board level for organizations including UHD (United for Human Development- a group of Belizean businesspersons with Church representatives along with former Crips/Bloods “Gang Members” led by Timmy Stamp and Ras Capone.) UHD was a Belizean private sector initiative before the Peace Treaty of the mid-1990’s, before CYDP and YFF. Another Belizean Private sector initiative Mr. Rogers was involved with is Addiction Alert Organization (AAO)- a drug rehabilitation center that was 100% Belizean.
