ACCIDENT CLAIMS YOUNG MAN'S LIFE
Apr 13, 2012
A fatal traffic accident yesterday evening on the Western Highway claimed the life of thirty four year old Belize City mechanic Kent Skeet. The accident happened just after five o’clock at the entrance of the Lord Ridge Cemetery. According to some of Skeet’s friends, they were socializing just minutes earlier on Supal Street, when Skeet left to go to his house on Holy Emmanuel Street. He reportedly borrowed a Suzuki Motorcycle from a friend and set out on his journey but never made it. That is because he crashed and died. A witness at the scene told Love News that it appears that Skeet lost control of the motorcycle and collided with the median flinging him violently to the pavement. Skeet was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical technicians. Skeet’s body now lies at the morgue at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where it awaits a post mortem examination.
