PAUL MAHUNG, Reporter

“The project for the upcoming academic school year in August entails two-way expansion needed to meet academic curriculum at third form level and additional buildings to accommodate the third form students at the new institutions established two years ago in San Antonio Village, Toledo.  Providence Seventh-Day Adventist High School principal, Patricia Nembhard who is very much in the fore front of the project implementation spoke of the two-way expansion efforts.”

PATRICIA NEMBHARD, Principal

“I must say thanks be to God and to all who has made Providence what it is today.  Special thanks to Minister Faber who is always finding possible solutions for the school to move forward.  We have reached another mile stone for the school and I am happy to say we are now in the third year at Providence.  Student’s choices have allowed us to create two departments namely: Science and Business Departments.  A Vocational Department will be created next year because we believe in educating the child mentally, physically and spiritually.  I would also like to inform the public that we have some very kind sponsors that are constructing two brand new building to host the third and fourth form students.  These buildings will also host the staff room, the library and music room.”

“The expansion and additional buildings and senior forms will also entail expansion of staffing as outlined by Mrs. Nembhard.”

PATRICIA NEMBHARD, Principal

“Due to this major improvement, teaching vacancies are now available for a Science teacher to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  A Business teacher to teach: POA, POB and OA and Agriculture and Integrated Science teacher and also a Home Economics teacher.  Providence is a Seventh Day Adventist institution that provides a fundamental and holistic Christian education, so applicants must demonstrate high moral qualities in life style.  Application forms are now being accepted for students that would like to attend providence.  Forms can be picked up at Ministry of Education in P.G. Town, Mrs. Nembhard’s house on Cayo Street and also at the school in San Antonio Village.  Students and teacher can contact me at 623-3484.
