Another Level Christian Dance ministry is a dance group from Harrisburg Pennsylvania who is currently conducting a training at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts this week as part of the Institute of Creative Arts Summer Program. Youth Development officer for ICA, Kim Vasquez told Love News what the group is doing for the program

“They are conducting a one week dance program in contemporary dance for juniors and in the evening they are also offering, free of costs, we are offering master classes for dance groups or people that already have some experience in dance. You know, those that are a little bit older, have already a standing in dance and they want to learn a little bit more and this Saturday we are going to be having a showcase entitled ‘I am the change my nation needs’ and this will be the culmination of their week long activities here in Belize.  There are actually three different genres of dance and three different instructors that will be conducting training in dance this summer here at ICA and so ALC Dance Group is just the first and then we also have the Belize Dance Company and we have New Generation Dance as well that will be teaching dance here for the summer.  We have about 15 students enrolled in the morning sessions, those are the younger ones and we have over, I believe, 25 I think in all by the time this week is over that will be taking the master classes.”

The public in general is invited to attend the showcase this Saturday at seven pm for a donation of five dollars at the door which will be used to defray costs and help with the continuation of the summer program.
