TEENAGER RECEIVES STAB WOUND IN ROARING CREEK Jul 12, 2012

 

Belmopan police are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a seventeen year old resident of Roaring Creek Village hospitalized.  Correspondent Fem Cruz has the story

 

FEM CRUZ, Reporter

“The victim seventeen year old Breampri Wright told Love News that on Wednesday, July 11th sometime around 9:45 A.M. she went to Belmopan and was returning back home and upon reaching in front of the Guzman residence in the Hattieville area of Roaring Creek village she was approached a person she knew as Araceli Guzman who she had a previous misunderstanding with about a year ago.  She said an argument started between both of them were they began to fight.  A neighbor who was passing by the scene separated them and after she left the area and was walking towards the football field heading towards home when suddenly Araceli Guzman attacked her from behind with a knife and stabbed her to the left side of her back.  She tried to run for her life she says, but later collapsed and fell to the ground.  Seventeen year old Breampri Wright was transported to the Western Regional Hospital where she is in a stable condition suffering from a punctured lung.  Police investigation continues into this lately stabbing.  This is Brother Fem Cruz reporting from the beautiful village of Roaring Creek for Love FM.”
