“Yes we had a rape reported by a fourteen year old female in Punta Gorda where she is saying that on the twenty second of September she was at the Venancia Petillo Park on Front Street in Punta Gorda in the company of Augustino Shal and two other persons.  She says that around one in the morning she lost consciousness and when she arrived home she realized that she did not have on her tights or underwear and believe that she was sexually assaulted.  The young woman was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital where doctor certified that she was recently carnally known. We continue to investigate this and we are looking for on Augustino Shal who we believe can shed some light into this investigation for us.  We had another rape reported by a thirty five year old female of Hopeville area also in Toledo where she is saying that on the twenty first of September about 8pm she went to Maturo Mechanic Shop to sell bread.  About ten minutes later she left the mechanic shop along with John Matura enroute to Scotia Bank, however whilst on the way she agreed to go with him to Forest Home to his friends who were apparently involved in an accident because Matura is a mechanic.  She says whilst on the way she was given some water to drink by Matura which made her become dizzy and she passed out.  On the twenty second of September about eleven thirty in the morning, she woke up and realized that she was involved in sexual intercourse and was informed by one Kieran Molina that she was taken there to her house by one Juan Castro and she was completely naked at the time.  She claims that she lost a nose ring that valued four hundred dollars and that she had three hundred dollars cash on her at the time.  We are investigating this matter because we have some things that we still need to clear up from her report but like I said she is saying that she lost consciousness.   In both cases we are seeing where both females lost consciousness for a period of time so we would want to believe that maybe something was used on them for them to lose consciousness.  We had another rape in Belmopan this time where a twenty year old female of Roaring Creek Village reported that on the twenty third of September at about one thirty in the morning, she was walking home from a party on Intelco Avenue when she saw a hispanic male person on a red motorcycle who stopped and offered her a ride; she accepted the ride, she got on the motorbike and the male person drove off but instead of driving her home he drove in the direction towards Belize City and took her into a feeder road between miles forty seven and forty eight on the Western Highway; she says he put a knife to her throat and told her to shut up and had forceful sexual intercourse with her.  This male person then drove off on the Western Highway leaving her behind.”
