Attorney General Scheduled To Meet With San Ignacio Residents

Twenty four hours after a peaceful demonstration by residents of San Ignacio and Santa Elena, word from Cayo is the Attorney General Wilfred Elrington has been dispatched to meet with the residents to address their concerns regarding the judiciary.
Under the Banner of Solidarity Movement for Peace, a public meeting will be held tomorrow night at the ITVET building on Buena Vista Street in San Ignacio Town where Minister Elrington will be the main speaker.
Tomorrow night’s meeting is scheduled to start at seven o’clock. The people’s agitation action to address the growing crime problem in the twin towns continues on Thursday with a voluntary shutdown of businesses in Santa Elena and San Igncaio.
The voluntary shutdown is scheduled to begin at seven o’clock on Thursday morning and continuing until seven o’clock on Thursday night.
