The family of a young mother of three children strongly suspects that foul play was involved in her death over the long weekend.  According to her family, twenty-four year old Karina Howard left Belize City earlier this year to start a new life with her boyfriend, in southern Belize.  She last returned three weeks ago to visit with her mother and children, ages seven, five and four years old, and left saying she would return sometime again.  However, today they received the terrible news that her body was discovered hanging in a house.  Howard’s grandmother, Elizabeth Howard, and her sister, Sherain Howard, said that Karina would not have ended her life, leaving behind her children.  They said that she was last seen alive at a party.  Despite the family’s suspicions, the police are treating the incident as a suicide.  The post mortem examination, however, is planned for later this week.
