Two men were shot dead on Thursday night in Belize City.  The double murder occurred shortly before eleven p.m. near Zeta Ice Factory and claimed the lives of thirty five year old Frank James and forty three year old Robert Young.  Police say that several shots were heard at about ten minutes to eleven and in that James, who lived on Pickstock Street was shot in the left side of the abdomen, right calf and left wrist, and was pronounced dead minutes later.  Meanwhile Young, who lived at a dockyard on North Front Street, was later discovered with bullet wounds to the left ear, right side of head, the right side of his neck and right hand.  He was pronounced dead on arrival at the KHMH just before midnight.  Love News spoke a short while ago with Emil Young, the brother of Robert Young, who said that he believes Robert and James were friends and that the gunman shot Robert because he witnessed the murder of James.  Police have recovered three nine millimeter shells from the scene and are seeking three men for questioning.
