"This is a duet; a piano and violin duet. Mexico and the United States are collaborating; the embassy's in Belmopan by bringing two artists. A pianist from Mexico, that is from Merida, Yucatan and the violinist is from News York; a renowned artist that has played in Asia and Europe. This is and event that we want to present to the Belizean public in Belize City and Belmopan. The Embassy of Mexico has a cultural program every year in Belize and in this case we are collaborating with the Embassy of the United States in Belize. Since one of the artists is from the United States and the other is from Merida we believe that it would be a good idea to bring such an event to Belize mainly at this season. I believe that this is a part of all the events leading up to Christmas even though the program is not a Christmas; they are going to play international and classical music devoted to the Belizean public that loves classical music."
Hidalgo says that Sosa and Lee have been performing as a duet for the about four years.

"The two artists form a duet; they have been performing together since 2005 in different parts of Mexico, the United States and Europe. Anyone interested in watching some performances by this couple can go to YouTube and type in Christopher Collins Lee and I am sure they are going to find something. The name of the Mexican artist is Marieli Sosa, she studied in Austria, in Vienna, for almost eight years and she has a Bachelors degree in Music from the University of Vienna. She also studied music at one of the most famous universities in Mexico."
Both recitals will start at six in the evening and entrance is free.
