POLICE INVESTIGATE BELMOPAN ROBBERY

One stop pawn shop at the Garden Plaza in Belmopan was targeted by thieves this morning. According to police reports Sherri Hemmans, a revenue agent at the pawn shop, was approached by two men around ten o’clock this morning. One of the men was armed and he pointed the gun at her and demanded money. Hemmans says she handed over and undisclosed amount of money. Both assailants made good their escape. Police are investigating.
