FIRST ANTI CRIME AWARENESS DAY TO BE HELD

The first ever anti crime awareness day will be held tomorrow at the BTL Park in Belize City. This is an initiative of the National Anti Crime Association of Belize. Love News spoke with Chairman of the Association, Doctor Leopold Miller.

“We have a number of invited guest speakers. Our canal guest speaker will be the right honorable Dr. Manuel Esquivel and then we have other speakers from the community business sector and NGL as well.  Today we have entertainment by artists, performers, bands, dances as well.  We have the flee marketers and vendors who’ll be out there bringing out their products and services and selling their food products as well. There will also be drinks, sodas, water, and juices for the public. So it’s going to be entertainment, kids’ rides, trains, all of these activities basically a family oriented and this is what we’re focusing on as an anti-crime awareness day. It’s an event for the entire family and we want to focus on the idea of how to reduce crime and these violent ambitious activities that’s been ripping up our country apart and our communities.”
