ASSISTANT COMMISIONER OF POLICE AND ELIZABETH LONGSWORTH TO RECEIVE AWARD

On Monday August 21 Assistant Commissioner of Police Crispin Jefferies and Elizabeth Longsworth will receive the Motorola Community Policing award. The award will be presented by John Magee, representative of the Motorola Company. Belize won the 2006 Caribbean region Motorola community policing award for the Yabra Citizen Development Project. The Motorola award is a joint initiative by the Motorola Company and the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police. During his visit to Belize, Magee will make courtesy calls on the Prime Minister, Ministers of Government and the Mayor of Belize City.
