BABY AND MINOR IN PRAM KNOCKED OVER BY CELL PHONE THIEF

Belize City Police are looking for a man who in the process of robbing a cell phone knocked over a four year old boy and a baby in a pram. 23 year old Shereefah Gillet of a Pelican St. address reported to Police that she was walking along Elston Kerr Street with her children sometime around ten thirty Tuesday morning when a man she knows only as Eggy, rode by and grabbed her pink razor cell phone. Gillet told police that she had the phone strapped around her wrist at the time of the incident.  Both children received minor injuries and are said to be traumatized by the incident.  Police are seeking said suspect and the Commissioner deplores such blatant disregard for the safety young innocent children.  Anyone that can help the Police in locating said Eggy is asked to please call the nearest Police Station.
