UB TO DISCUSS THE BALANCE OF POWER IN OUR PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM-THE CASE OF B.T.L

The University of Belize is preparing to host another student forum. The forum titled ‘The Balance of Power in our Parliamentary System - the case of BTL’ will take place at the Belmopan Campus tomorrow. We spoke with U-B’s External Relations Officer Ewart Robateau.

“What we’re doing is discussing the current issue between B.T.L. and the judiciary and comparing it with the type of governing system that we have in Belize and see how it impacts the system on a whole. As you know recently the university has been hosting a number of forums and discussions and this is a way in which we can encourage students and faculty to become aware of the issues and discuss these issues so we feel that as the national university that we have a duty to promote these types of things of national interest and get our students and faculty to become more involved.”
