ASSISTANT COMPTROLLER OF CUSTOMS PASSED AWAY

Assistant Comptroller of Customs and Excise Department Arthur Alexander Leslie has passed away. A release from the Customs and Excise Department says Leslie fell ill on the job last Thursday. Leslie was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit at the Belize Medical Associates and died yesterday. Leslie entered the public service in 1976 and served in various positions. Up until the time of his death Leslie was responsible for the management of the Invoice, Valuation and Customs Management Information System Units.
