NICH ISSUES RELEASE REGARDING THE INTENDED INTERUPTION OF THE FLOW OF CRUISE TOURISM

The Management and Staff of the National Institute of Culture and History also issued a release expressing quote “grave concern regarding the intention of the Belize City Council to interrupt the flow of Cruise Tourism to Belize”. The release says NICH has responsibility for several major Archaeological Sites visited by cruise ship tourists and any activity to disrupt visitors would immediately impact hundreds of tour operators, tour guides, art and craft vendors, entertainers and all who earn their daily bread from the Industry.
