GOVERNMENT SCHOOL TO RECEIVE COMPUTERS FROM INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

The Camalote Government School will receive a donation of computers tomorrow from the Belize Universal Peace Federation. Love News spoke today with Secretary General of the Organization, Mark Anthony Cuellar.

“Number of them has already known because we have teachers, community activist, political leaders, and religious leaders of Belize who were Ambassadors for peace for the Universal Peace Federation. Totally we have 1200 Ambassadors for peace in Belize and because of there knowledge of the organization they know when we are receiving medical supplies, computer, electric organs, recorders that will assist various school. Our office is in Belize City at #3 Church Street, right next to the B-T-L office. We have received letters of request and we try to meet them as we go along. As I said the first 250 is already sign out but we are accepting letters of request from any needy school.”

We asked Cuellar how organizations qualify to receive help.

“Tomorrow in Camalote at the school we will be donating seven computers. That school needs these computers very urgently. We have done other areas already and we are giving out to the needy schools especially a concentration will be done for the villages of Belize. We collect our own revenues internationally and we are giving out computers we are giving out the first 250 and in July we will be giving out another 250 but there is a total of 2000 computers that will be facilitating to community centers, libraries to the Police Department and to the Belize Defense Force, to the doctors of the Peace Association and other needy areas of the country.”

The Universal Peace Federation is an organization that represents 192 countries around the world.
