ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE IN SAN IGNACIO IN CONNECTION WITH WOMEN'S WEEK

As part of Women’s Week, the Cayo Women’s Department held a Women and youth Empowerment Day over the weekend in San Ignacio Town.Here’s Roque Mai with the details.

“The activity was held at the Market Square with the support of the Belize Rural Development Programme. A total of fifteen women and youth groups from the villages of the district were present showcasing, selling and integrate with other women and youths on the work they do and the product they produce as well. Belize Development Rural Programme is encouraging and supporting the role of women and youth to develop their micro and small enterprises so as to improve their quality of life.”
