March 23, 2007

Gerald Westby, Police Commissioner

“An allegation was made by a W-P-C, and Mr. Magdaleno and the Deputy were asked to look at it. And Mr. Magdaleno is the lead investigator and at the end of the day, they have been consulting with the DPP. And we will make sure that it is expedited and the DPP, ah, deals with it and gives directives thereafter, nuh. It is investigated like any other investigation. It has been investigated and at the end of the day, allegations are made and we need to make sure that we are thorough with it.”

Westby said the investigation into the allegation should be completed by next Tuesday and forwarded to the D-P-P’s office for perusal thereafter.
