POLICE SEEK HELP IN IDENTIFYING PARTLY DECOMPOSED CORPSE

Belize City Police are asking the public's help in identifying the body of a man whose partly decomposed corpse was found on a feeder road off the Northern Highway in the vicinity of the Haulover Bridge. Sometime around 5:30 yesterday evening, Police received information of a body lying in the area. Police say they found a man lying on the ground in a partly decomposed state. The body was dressed in long jeans pants, black tee shirt and white socks. The deceased was slim built with a low hair cut and based on certain items found on the body, believed to be Spanish speaking. The Police are asking anyone with information that could help in identifying the body or in ascertaining what let to this apparent murder to call the Police or Crime Stoppers. The body had visible signs of violence and Police suspect foul play. The body awaits a post mortem examination.
