UDP CONDEMNS LETTER SENT TO ACB BY BELIZE BANK

The United Democratic Party says it is in complete solidarity with the Association of Concerned Belizeans and condemns the letter sent to the A-C-B by Belize Bank Chairman Philip Johnson. In its release the U-D-P says the letter is a crude, crass attempt to intimidate the A-C-B into backing away from the high civic mission it has undertaken in challenging the Government of Belize’s U-H-S guarantee. The U-D-P goes on to say the letters threats are transparently empty, have not worked an can be dismissed out of hand; but the language and tone of the letter are highly disrespectful of the A-C-B and utterly unacceptable to right thinking Belizeans.
