SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOR ATTEMPTED ROBBERY

Belize City Police are looking for two suspects who tried to rob a businessman but couldn’t after he reportedly retaliated. 47 year-old Jian Zhi Huang of West Street and Water Lane in Belize City told police that sometime around three yesterday afternoon he was inside his business when two youths entered the shop and one of the men pointed a firearm at him and demanded money.Huang, who was behind a burglar bar enclosure, ducked behind the counter and came up with his own licensed firearm from which he fired several shots at them.The two would be robbers quickly ran off without anything.
