POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY MAN

Belize City Police are asking your assistance to identify the body of a man who was discovered sometime around two this morning on the Belcan Bridge in Belize City and who later died after being transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police say the man is dark skinned with dreadlocks and a gold tooth in the front of his mouth. He was found with injuries to his head and a bicycle and small butane tank was found near him. Police are trying to determine if it was the result of a hit and run accident or if the man was assaulted. Anyone with information that can help is asked to call the nearest Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
