BELPRO CONEX WAS HELD OVER THE WEEKEND

The Belizean Producers Convention Exhibition, BELPRO CONEX, was held over the weekend, under the auspices of the Belize Business Bureau. Love News spoke with General Manager of the Belize Business Bureau, Yasmin Figueroa who says all in all, the show was a success.

“The weekend started our at the Princess on August 3rd,4th and 5th but the exhibitors were there and there were a lot of things going on and there was the Culinary Team came in from Barbados to show their expertise in cooking and how to display the food.We also had Port of Belize raffling scholarships to different high schools and.We had Galen,also raffling a laptop.There was a free raffle to win two plane tickets.Overall we had about 75 booths of all Belizean products and it was a good turn out,5,000-6,000 people showing up for the show.” 

Figueroa explains the whole purpose behind the BELPRO CONEX.

“The purpose of this show really was to display to everyone,especially international here in Belize to display the Belizean products that we have in Belize.With Bel Pro Connex we had made a close start in strengthening Belize’s Businesses and providing an awareness of how successful Belizean entrepreneurs can be.”
