SOUTH AMERICAN AMBASSADORS PRESENT CREDENTIALS

Ambassadors from Colombia, Peru, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela today presented letters of Credence to the Governor General of Belize.  They are His Excellency Doctor Ventura Emilio Diaz Mejia from Colombia, His Excellency Luis Chuquihuara Chil from Peru and His Excellency Omar Valdiviezo from the Venezuela.  The three new ambassadors to Belize also paid courtesy calls on Prime Minister of Belize Said Musa in his Belmopan office.  The Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, UNESCO, Koichiro Matsuura also paid courtesy calls on the Governor General Sir Colville Young and on the Prime Minister.
