SHOOTING INCIDENT LEAVES 20 YEAR OLD MALE HOSPITALIZED

Belize City police continue their investigation into a shooting that has left 20-year-old Clifton Flores hospitalized in a stable condition. Police say they visited the K-H-M-H shortly before seven o’clock yesterday morning where they saw Flores of a Jane Usher Boulevard address suffering from gun shot wounds to both legs. Flores told Police around 6:45 am yesterday morning, he was on Freedom Street talking to his friend Marlon Aranda, when a small white four door car with tinted windows stopped in front of them and the driver pointed a firearm towards their direction and fired several shots causing the injuries. Aranda escaped unhurt.
