BURRELL BOOM BUSINESSMAN ROBBED

Police are investigating an incident in which a Burrell Boom businessman was robbed. Police say 50-year-old Alfonso Pinelo reported that Wednesday afternoon about three o’clock in the afternoon he was at his store in Burrell Boom Village when two Creole descent men entered his store. Pinelo said one of the men ordered a spray paint. Pinelo said when he went to get the paint and in his return he saw the two men with black warm caps over their faces and one with a chrome colored handgun. The men demanded money. Pinelo said he handed over two thousand dollars which was the property of Belize Telemedia Limited. The men then ran out of the store. Police continue their investigations.
