MAN CHARGED FOR BURGLARIZING GIRLFRIEND’S HOUSE

23-year-old Cecil Castillo an unemployed who allegedly robbed his girl friend, 32 year old nurse Leonora Stevens, and burglarized her house, was charged with four offences when he appeared in court today.  Castillo was charged with robbery, burglary, damage to property, and a mischievous act.  He pleaded not guilty to the charges.  He was remanded to September 30.  The robbery occurred yesterday afternoon at Steven’s residence on Iguana Street.  Stevens reported to the police that she was in her yard when Castillo came and stole her beach cruiser bicycle. She said Castillo took out a pistol and beat her on her forehead with it when she tried to stop him.  Stevens reported that Castillo returned about four hours later and entered her house as a trespasser.  After an argument and a struggle Castillo left then returned 30 minutes after and tore down two plywood of her house.  Police reported that when they picked Castillo he told them his name was Dean Smith.
