FIRE DESTROYS HOME IN BELIZE CITY

A fire in Belize City this morning destroyed a two storey building on Prince Street. Neighbors saw the blaze shortly after 11 this morning but fire officials responded in time and managed to contain the blaze. No one was injured in the blaze but the upper flat of the wooden structure was completely destroyed while the lower flat sustained water and minor fire damage. Fire officials are trying to determine what caused the blaze.
