SAGICOR CELEBRATES ITS 8TH ANNIVERSARY

November 04, 2008

This week Sagicor is celebrating eight years of involvement in the insurance business in Belize. The celebration is being observed under the theme “Celebrating Life through Quality in Service”. Regional Manager, Harry Pilgrim tells us more.

Harry Pilgrim, Regional Manager – Sagicor

“This week we are highlighting, not just some of the things that we have done, but we are also trying to highlight some of the things and the people who have worked with us to make us a success. We will be honoring some of our oldest policy holders. We had a worship service on Sunday which several of our policy holders attended along with our agents, staff and family members. We will be having a public cocktail and reception for some of our policy holders and colleagues in the industry on Wednesday evening at 5:30 at the Biltmore. At that we intend to utilize the opportunity to better inform our people about the North American financial melt down. The that regard we have secured the agreement of several prominent persons in Belize who will serve on a panel to make presentations as to how that melt down will impact Belize. This will include the finances, economy and lives of the people of Belize. Finally, on Friday we intend to hold a customer appreciation day where our clients will be invited to come to our office. There will be treats, snacks, drinks and goodies to share with them as we say thank you for having been such a supportive group. We really want to thank Belizean for doing business with us over the last eight years when we operated as a branch."

Pilgrim said that Sagicor looks forward to continuing to provide a life long commitment of dedicated service to Belizeans.
