Belize City police have arrested and charged two minors for aggravated assault. Dwight Tillett reported to police that he was walking toward his house on Antelope Street Extension when he was approached by five men who he does not know. According to Tillett, three of the men that approached him were on bicycles while two were on a motorcycle. Tillett said that one of the men pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him. Tillett escaped unhurt but two minors from the Faber’s Road area have been detained in connection with the incident.

Dangriga Police have arrested and charged 18 year old Derrick Tracey for drug trafficking. Just before 2:30 yesterday afternoon police on mobile patrol on 1^st Street in the Benguche area conducted a search on Tracey which led to the discovery of almost 250 grams of suspected cannabis.
