LOVE FM OPENING IN ORANGE WALK

It is never a good thing to blow one's own horns; but tonight we make no apology for doing just that, as RSV Limited, the parent company that owns this television station today launched an ambitious project to establish district centers around the country. Ceremonies were held this morning in Orange Walk town, marking the opening of an office for Love FM and Estereo Amor. Office manager Manuela Ayuso spoke of what the new venture means for the company.

“The idea of Love FM, Estereo Amor district offices has been in years in the making and today we are ready and equip to make it a reality. This office is one of several to come in the future and will be used as a prototype for other district offices. What you were invited to witness today is a major accomplishment for RSV Limited as it is with keeping with Love FM mission statement of remaining the biggest and the best media house in Belize, maintain our leadership position in quality programming, along with professional and effective advertising services for our clients. It is a stepping stone, as today for the very first time we will be broadcasting on Estereo Amor program specifically designed for an Orange Walk audience from an Orange Walk studio. For six hours each week day. Our announcer Victor Castillo will be presenting dynamic and interactive programs that are geared towards meeting the needs of the Orange Walk audiences. This office will make all of the services of the RSV Limited companies easily assessable, whether it’s Love FM, Estereo Amor, More FM or LOVE Belize TV, we’ll be more than happy and willing to assist. Whether it’s advertising an announcement, a news report or even a request, we’ll be here to help. It is our aim to be as community oriented as possible and we look forward in participating in any event that will put Orange Walk in the forefront. Finally we invite you to keep the nation informed and let us know when there is something that you feel is news worthy happening in your area.”

“It has long been a dream of ours to establish district centers in all the main towns of our beautiful country Belize, so that we can carry out better the mission that we establish for ourselves in 1993 when we held our very first meeting. It was back in 1992, towards the end of 1992 when I entered my ten years as general manager of the then Broadcasting Cooperation of Belize. As I told a graduating class in Punta Gorda and also in San Ignacio last weekend, I had two roads which to take, because the hurt that had been put on me as general manager is a hurt I would not wish on anyone. So I had tow roads to take. One of these roads was the road of anger, hatred, and revenge, the other road was one of forgiveness, hope and love, obviously I chose the latter road, the road of forgiveness, hope and love and that is why we proudly say today ‘Thanks For Choosing Love’ and we encourage all our people to choose that road, no matter what happens to you in your life, remember there is always the road, the choice that you can make, to choose either the road of anger, hatred and revenge which obviously leads to no where and goes in an endless circle or the road to forgiveness, hope and love which can take you places and I can certainly prove that.”

RSV Limited plans to establish a similar presence in all of the district towns.
