Association of Defense Attorneys raises concerns over judiciary’s bail decisions

The Association of Defense Attorneys has expressed concerns over two recent incidents involving the liberty of Belizeans who appeared before the Courts recently. The Vice President of the association, Michelle Trapp appeared on The Monring Show today where she condemned actions of the judiciary when it comes to granting bail.  One of the things that Trapp highlighted was that the constitution must always be followed.  The association cited two incidents where bail was denied, the first being the case of 24-year-old, Tehje Vaughan.
