BEL Update to NEMO – 12 noon

BEL Update to NEMO – 12 noon, Nov 2 2022:

BEL’s teams continue to monitor the power system as Hurricane Lisa approaches Belize.

We have completed addressing reports of major hazards. Our teams are now taking precautions for their personal safety, and continue to take note of reports of hazards that will require our attention.

In the event that there is a loss of power supply due to damage from Hurricane Lisa, BEL will dispatch its teams to conduct repairs and restore power ONLY WHEN IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.
