Belama resident charged for breaking into Magistrate’s court

A resident of the Belama community is behind bars after he was nabbed by police for breaking into the police prosecution branch near the Belize City Magistrate’s Court. Over the weekend, 32-year-old Kriston Smith was arrested and charged with the crime of burglary. He stands accused of breaking into the building on Tuesday, March 7 and ransacking the office.
