Belizean Family Faces Massive Medical Bill in Merida, Mexico

A Belizean family is in Merida, Yucatan (Mexico) facing a huge medical bill that is being required upfront from Clinica de Merida.  Love News reached out to the family’s spokesperson, Kareen Leslie, who explained to us that her sister, Kira, is currently admitted at the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  Kira had to undergo multiple diagnostic tests and had to be given a special medication that took the medical bill to an estimated thirty five thousand US dollars.  Her sister explained that the hospital will not do anything more until the bill is paid in full.
