Cantun Family Wins Major Court Case

In other news, the Cantun Family of the Corozal District won a major judgment earlier this week against six police officers. The family’s legal case was also successful against the Belize Police Department and the Government of Belize by extension. The family accused the police officers of violating their rights when officers raided their residence in San Victor Village in October 2020. Hipolito Novelo has the update.
