Children Parliamentarians Take a Seat in the Chamber

Today the Sitting of the Children’s Parliament was held in Belmopan. Belizean youth from different schools participated in a simulation of the House of Representatives meeting as well as the Senate meeting. They were allowed to conduct several practices and procedures that make the framework of these meetings including the reading of a bill, motions, and adjournment.
