COBEC holds its annual College Fair

Today, the Consortium for Belize Educational Cooperation (COBEC) held its annual College Fair in Belize City. Twenty-two local and international universities participated in the event and provided information about their respective institutions through informational booths. Local financial and governmental agencies also took part and provided information about various tertiary, vocational-technical, and high school scholarship opportunities available to Belizean students. Hugo Gonzales, Belize District Co-Chair of COBEC, explained that the fair sought to provide students with the information they need to pursue higher education.
