Controversy with Cayo Lands

Residents of Eve Street in Santa Elena Town, Cayo, are up in arms that access to their lands and homes was being denied. The problem is that the road was built on private property many years ago. A valuation is being done on the property in question and that caused concerns for residents nearby. Love News spoke to Cayo Central Area Representative Alex Balona who set the record straight. 

Chief Valuer of the Ministry of Natural Resources Herman Castillo says that the government has decided to settle with the property owner.
