Cultures come alive in Garden City

Yesterday, the Belmopan City Council and the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) held the municipality’s first-ever Cultural Music Festival. The event sought to promote the music, food, history, and traditions of the various cultures of Belize. The festival took place at the Belmopan market plaza where Cayo Correspondent Fem Cruz spoke to the Belmopan Mayor, Sharon Palacio, about the importance of the cultural festivity.
