22-year-old Curtis Chris August has been arrested and charged by police.  The San Jose Nuevo Palmar Village resident was detained following the break-in at former Police Commissioner Allen Whylie’s home in Lemonal, Belize District. Love News has learned that August was yesterday charged with two counts of handling stolen goods. We understand that while in custody, August was cautioned and informed of his constitutional rights but he chose to remain silent. Weapons, ammunition and other items were stolen from the house while Whylie was out of the country.
