Elderly man dies after he was reportedly beaten inside his home

Investigators are probing into the death of a man who passed away after he was allegedly beaten and left for dead inside his home. Two weeks ago, 60-year-old Richard Thurton was found by police badly beaten on the side of a street in Belize City. According to his family, the elderly man was reportedly attacked and beaten inside his home at the corner of Fairweather Street and Neals Penn Road. Thurton initially spent days in a coma and was fighting for his life but ultimately succumbed to the injuries he received. A post-mortem examination concluded that Thurton died due to blunt force trauma.
