Accused killer cop, Elmer Nah, has officially been charged with the murder of Vivian Belisle Ramnarace, the third victim in the New Year’s Eve triple homicide that claimed the life of her husband and brother-in-law. This morning, the former police corporal appeared in the Belize City Magistrates Court before Magistrate Baja Shoman. Belisle-Ramnarace was initially hospitalized following the shooting in Belmopan, where brothers, John and David Ramnarace, were gunned down in front of her home. Nah appeared in court alongside his wife, Epephania Caliz, and his brother-in-law, Police Constable, Manuel Caliz. The trio was to be jointly charged with two counts of kept unlicensed firearm concerning 135 .223 and four 5.56 live rounds of ammunition found in Nah’s vehicle two days after the drug plane in southern Belize, which both men are accused of helping to facilitate. However, the Magistrate determined that the trio has a case to answer for in the High Court of Belize for the ammunition and set the date for their next court appearance for March 3. During the session, Nah was read four more indictable offences including, one count of murder for the January 15, 2023 murder of Vivian Ramnarace, attempted murder, deadly means of harm, and wounding upon Yemi Alberto, the only shooting victim that survived the incident.
