Fitness Elites, on their first outing, says Ruta Maya has been on their bucket list

Tonight, we are meeting another all-woman team of paddlers for the Belikin La Ruta Maya River Challenge. These fierce warriors make up the team, calling themselves “Fitness Elites”. They are doing this for the first time and as Dale McDougall found out, the ladies are fulfilling a life goal. At the same time, they’re hoping their journey inspires more women to get involved and show the world their tenacity and strength. Here’s the story.
