Former BPMS employee, Tariq Tyrell Phillips, granted bail for theft

A former employee of BPMS has been charged and granted bail for the crime of theft.  27-year-old, Tariq Tyrell Phillips was arraigned today after being charged for failing to deposit monies belonging to Adrian Anderson of BPMS.  The incident happened on May 9, 2023 when he was given $1,686.75 to deposit into the bank.  According to Anderson, after he gave the bag of money to Phillips to deposit, he (Phillips) failed to return to work.  Phillips who was unrepresented  pleaded not guilty to the charge  of theft and was offered bail in the sum of 1,000 plus one surety of the same amount, which he met.  Phillips next court  date is set  for  June 29, 2023./
