GOB Launches the Belize Sustainable Oceans Plan

Today, the Government of Belize officially launched its Marine Spatial Planning Process under the name “Belize Sustainable Oceans Plan”. The plan is geared at determining the optimal distribution of human activities across Belize’s Ocean spaces to achieve the country’s ecological, economic, and social objectives. A ceremony was held this morning to commemorate the momentous event and Reporter, Giovanna Moguel attended. Here is that report.
