Hit and Run in Belmopan

Police in Belmopan are investigating a hit-and-run that left 35-year-old Justin Stewart hospitalized.  The incident happened on Friday night when Stewart was walking home on Hummingbird Avenue. He was hit from behind and flung. Security cameras in the area captured the incident. It shows the vehicle speeding off after hitting Steward. The victim was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital. After receiving care, Stewart was released and is recovering at home. Police are asking if you have any information on the incident to call the nearest police station.
