India marked Republic Day on January 26

January 26 is an important day for the global Indian community. It was on that day in 1950, India became a republic and since then, the country of about 1.5 billion people, is considered the world’s largest democracy. Here in Belize, Indians marked the occasion at the Belize Hindu Temple with a service and held other activities. Dale McDougall reports.
